My family has been using Aquila's for a very long time through multiple cars/years. They have always done a great job and have worked with us many times. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them if you have car troubles.

Recently had my front axle replaced for my Acura TL. As a first time customer, I was treated like VIP. Tom answered all my questions and kept me updated as the mechanics worked on my car. Fairly priced. Job well done by his team. Very professional and reliable. Communication is never an issue. Safe to say I have found a permanent auto repair shop here in New Haven and no doubt I will be coming back here for future services. Highly recommend!

Honest and fair mechanics. Tom and his family have been operating in Westville for almost 70 years! Labor charge is $145 per hour.

Aquila Motors is an absolutely phenomenal mechanic! Incredibly friendly service, and their work is as high quality as it is efficient. I’ve taken my ‘05 Subaru there several times, and despite me worrying that my car was on its last legs, Aquila has consistently pulled through and made it possible for me to not only keep driving it, but for it to drive better than ever. They’re honest, they’re nice, and they’re outstanding mechanics all around in my experience. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

They are above and beyond the best mechanics, the only downside is that there's not much room for that many cars so there is a bit of a wait for you to drop off your car. There's no attempt to fix things that aren't broken, or upsale you as I've experienced at other mechanics and dealer service departments. They are fair in their dealings and are professional & friendly in every interaction I have had with them. Plus occasionally there's a chill dog that hangs out there and you can pet it, the dog is not there every day. As long as you can deal with waiting for a couple of days, it's the best mechanic in New Haven.
